Hello everyone, tonight I will play a one-man show at the Marx bookstore (11 K. Marx Street, 21:00).
I met the play "Life after death" on Lyubimovets.
Fyodor Zeln, with whom we shared a room, seemed to be a modest, positive guy.
His text knocked me out with its uncompromising ruthlessness towards itself, expressed in witty humor. And this is infinitely close to me.
This is a detailed methodological description of the trauma of initiation using the example of the funeral of a beloved mother.
For me, there is a lot of such timely symbolism in this text, because through such initiations,
tied to death and fear of the future, everyone I know has passed.
Personally, I absolutely hear my relativity to the text, although so far I have gone exclusively to other people's cemeteries.
I immediately realized that I wanted to read it myself.
And since autumn, I've been reading a little and coming up with ideas, picking up people who can help me.
The impulse that she Gurskaya gave me, through our joint co-creation, turned out to be decisive
in order to hurry up and share this text with you. This is a full-fledged directorial debut for her.
And this is the first director who hasn't run away from me (so far, but that's another story).
This is not my first executive job. But I've never had a major role.
